Rice husk water in the Joseon Dynasty was used much like today's toner. It was called "Beauty Water" used for beautiful skin. It contains amino acids, minerals, and vitamin E, which help keep the skin hydrated and healthy.
Ginseng water in the Joseon Dynasty was called "Shincho", meaning a plant sent by the gods. It contains saponin that helps to heal and energize the skin.
Squalane has sebum-like properties, and helps balance moisture and oil, protecting the skin from external stimuli.
Niacinamide is a type of water-soluble vitamin B. It helps prevent dryness and oily skin by balancing sebum secretion in the skin.
